1 AIRPORT REGULATIONS

1.1 Restrictions on Engine Test Runs and Idle Checks

1.1.1 General provisions

a. It is applied as a general rule that engine test runs and idle checks in the open air and without

silencers must be restricted to the very minimum.

b. For the manoeuvres mentioned under a, the previous authorization of the Airport Inspection is

required

c. The Airport Inspection has the right to stop or restrict all ongoing manoeuvres in the event of Airport

Regulations being violated or circumstances arising that necessitate such a decision

1.1.2 Engine test runs

Engine test runs in open air and without silencers may only take place either:

z on the area situated at the crossing of

TWY

F3, Y, W1 and W2

z on holding bay P7 (only in case of unavailability due to infrastuctional reasons of the crossing of

TWY

F3, Y, W1 and W2) and only between 0600-2100 on the condition that a previous authorization was

obtained from the Airport Inspection.

Note: Occupation by an aircraft is not considered as unavailibility of a

TWY

1.2 Between 2200 and 0459 (night) and between 0500 and 0559 (early morning)
