Surveyor 2000/2000e

Surveyor 2000 is compact, with doser-

ate and countrate scales and controls

for response time and audio. X-ray

and gamma ray exposures are meas-

ured by an internal GM detector, and

alpha, beta, X- or gamma countrates

using a suitable external probe oper-

ating at 900 V. High voltage check,

anti-saturation and Dead time com-

pensation are included.

The Surveyor 2000 is scaled in count

rate and in exposure for the SWGM

probe. Instruments scaled in

microsieverts are also available

Exposure accuracy within 10% (per

NRC Reg. Guide 10.8). Meets or

exceeds 10 CFR35 for nuclear medi-

cine. For use only with ECPGM Probe

for energy compensated (µRem/hr /

µSv/hr) readings.

Surveyors have

either 3 exposure ranges or 3 coun-

trate ranges, audio switch, NV and

battery checks with Dead time com-

pensation and anti-saturation circuitry.

There is an audible ‘click’ for each sig-

nal detected and an alarm if over-scale

signal rates occur. Simple analogue

meter usable with any 900 V GM

probes. A rate meter with a fixed 900

V supply for an external probe and

either 3 exposure ranges or 3 count

rate changes.
